Overview

Trinity Care Family Practice, originally founded in Glandore, South Australia, was created with a vision to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and community-focused healthcare to families in Adelaide's southern suburbs. As a brand-new medical clinic with no existing infrastructure, Trinity Care partnered with CyberSquad IT Consulting to guide them through every step of their practice launch — from initial concept through to full operational setup and beyond.

The Challenge

Launching a new general practice from scratch comes with numerous challenges:

  • Navigating complex IT and Medicare compliance requirements.
  • Designing an efficient, secure digital environment from the ground up.
  • Ensuring all clinical and business systems work seamlessly.
  • Planning for scalability and long-term resilience.

Trinity Care required a trusted partner that could offer tailored, healthcare-specific solutions and act as a single point of contact across all technology and communications needs.

Our Solution

CyberSquad provided end-to-end startup support for Trinity Care's launch, including:

  • IT & Medicare compliance consultancy

Advisory on technology requirements for RACGP and Medicare compliance, plus medical-software procurement and strategy — including Best Practice implementation and cloud-hosting setup.

  • Clinic infrastructure & fit-out

Full network cabling, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points, security camera systems, and networking hardware — plus all workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals, including Medicare-integrated solutions like Tyro.

  • Cloud & communications systems

Our IaaS for Medical platform (secure, cloud-hosted, VMware-powered) for the Best Practice PMS; enterprise-grade NBN with failover to Telstra 5G; and our 3CX cloud-hosted phone system for internal comms, telehealth, and remote work.

Relocation & Rebuild

In a significant development, Trinity Care's original building in Glandore was acquired by the South Australian Government as part of a new infrastructure project. CyberSquad was called upon again to manage a seamless transition to a brand-new clinic build at the new site in Marion, South Australia. Working closely with Practice Manager Debbie and Clinic Director Dr Chee, we advised on new site layout and technology requirements, coordinated the IT fit-out, cabling, and systems migration, and ensured zero clinical downtime during the transition.

Outcomes

  • Fast, smooth launch of the original practice.
  • High reliability and zero system outages thanks to robust connectivity and cloud infrastructure.
  • Scalable infrastructure ready for future growth.
  • Successful relocation and re-implementation of all services at the new site with minimal disruption.

Conclusion

Trinity Care is a great example of how CyberSquad partners with new medical practices to ensure a stress-free, compliant, and fully integrated launch. Our deep understanding of medical IT, local infrastructure, and the needs of GPs allowed us to deliver a turnkey solution that enabled Dr Chee and his team to focus on what matters most — caring for patients.
